WHERE I AM NOW

New York Sport and Fitness

My role at NYSF is very unique for a strength coach out of college! I could not be more thankful to have this opportunity to kick off my career. Training young kids, high school kids, college kids, and adults. With a main role serving as the assistant strength coach for Elmira College!

About Me: About

WHERE I CAME FROM

High School Through College

Baseball was my passion growing up. Horseheads High School in New York is where I was blessed enough to have played and have been coached by one of the best. I was able to learn, a lot! Not just about baseball, but about becoming a better man. I will never forget my coach at Horseheads sitting us down in the weight room and grabbing my full attention. He went on to tell us that he could care less about the baseball side of things. Coach made it known that we could be the worst baseball players in the world, but if we grew up to be good men, he knows his job was done well. This is where I learned the importance of always being early, reliable, and outworking everyone in the room.
This lead to me to my next endeavor. A college commit.
Finger Lakes Community College to Play JUCO ball. Where I did everything I could on the field and in the classroom to earn my role. I was named a captain for my sophomore year. Batting .321 and earning my first 4.0 GPA, I was fully confident in my ability to lead by example.
This opportunity at FLCC was one that I knew would be my last for baseball. With a few opportunities presented to move on to the next level, my heart took my in a different direction.
Brockport was it. I chose to turn my attention to school and pursue a degree in Exercise Science. Come my senior year, I landed the best internship I could have asked for at Next Level Strength and Conditioning. Here I was taught how to be a coach in the weight room. Something that simply can not be taught in a classroom. I must say, I always rolled my eyes as a kid to people saying "Everything happens for a reason." Now I could not imagine being more thankful for that quote.
